Ventilation/Indoor Air Quality Survey

Ventilation/Indoor Air Quality Surveys are conducted to evaluate the quality of indoor air at your workplace against statutory requirements, and to recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Ventilation is employed in workplaces to control temperature, replenish oxygen, or remove moisture, odours, heat, dust, airborne bacteria, and carbon dioxide in order to provide a healthy and safe working environment.

Every employer should have a Ventilation/Indoor Air Quality Survey conducted at their premises as required in terms of Section 5 of the Environmental Regulations for Workplaces, OHSAct, Section 12(b) of the Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Substances, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Sections 5, 9 and 12 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
